We offer hundreds of fabrics and faux leathers that can withstand our furry friends. The key is the weave of the fabrics. Tightly woven fabrics will be able to hold up better over time when it comes to animal use. Please note there is no such thing as a total animal or scratch proof up- holstery fabric.

Microsuede

Microsuede is made from a synthetic material that is both durable and easy to clean. It will be easy to clean fur off this material. Microsuede is also stain resistant.

Microfiber

Microfiber, like microsuede, is made from a synthetic material that is both durable and easy to clean. It will be easy to clean fur off this material. Microfiber is also stain resistant.

Leather Looks and Vinyl

The best part about leather looks and vinyl with pets, is fur does not stick to the material. In addition, this material is very easy to clean with mild soap and water.

Large Patterns

Nothing can hide blemishes due to pets better than a large pattern! Large patterns are great for hiding small stains and claw marks.

Crypton

Crypton, the super fabric, will withstand a pet better than any other material. This material is stain and bacteria resistant.

Outdoor/Indoor Fabrics

Outdoor Indoor fabrics are good with pets because they are easy to clean, and are bacteria resistant.

Scotchgard/Teflon

Either of these after market products are perfect for making an upholstery fabric stain and abrasion resistant to animals without effecting the feel or breathability of your fabric.
